Junya Watanabe

This japanese designer, better known as founder of the brand “Comme des Garçons”, just doesn’t stop amazing us every year in the presentation of his collections. Also known as designer “tecno couture”, Watabe presents a collection automn-winter 2009 plenty of ill-structured, quilted garments and whose star color is black. His garments, labeled as avant-garde and ultra-fashionable, try to convey depth and feminity. From long quilted dresses through mini-dresses with arquitechtonical shapes, his collection is intended for feminine and smart women who try to understand the designer creations. His career as fashion designer in “Comme des garçons” and his own collection either for men or women, have given him the opportunity of designing for other brands as “Converse” or even dressing First Lady Michelle Obama.
